Bernie brings 18 years of telecom experience to Pivot Media, where he provides strategic direction and leadership. Bernie follows the telecom industry closely and conducts industry research and analysis, provides strategic consulting for clients, and cultivates insightful telecom mindshare. Bernie is also the publisher and managing editor of Telecompetitor, a leading telecom industry blog. Prior to Pivot, Bernie spent seven years with the NTCA as the vice president of business development. Prior to his work with NTCA, Bernie worked for Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) in network operations. Bernie holds a M.S. in Telecommunications from the Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Economics from the University of the District of Columbia.

Location: Pavilion 6 Keynote - Marc Hayden, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, CHR Solutions  Marc Hayden oversees Sales and Business Development, Marketing, Product Development and Management, and Sales Operations in his role at CHR Solutions. Prior to CHR, Marc was the Managing Partner of Force Multiplier International, a global consulting company focused on strategic planning and market development. He brings more than 20 years of commercial and military communications experience having held domestic and international sales and management positions with premier telecommunications companies including Redknee, Harris Corporation, Openet Telecommunications, Inc. and ADC Telecommunications, Inc.
Mr. Hayden graduated with honors in Middle Eastern Studies from the Defense Language Institute and served with the United States Marine Corps. He received his MBA in International Business and Entrepreneurship from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business and serves on the Board of Directors of the Healthy Start Coalition of Brevard County, Florida and the Brevard Lacrosse Association.

Speaker - Steve Senne, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Finley Engineering
Steven Senne currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President for Finley Engineering. A Finley Engineering employee since 1988, he has progressed through a variety of positions in the company. He started as a Project Engineer in the Minnesota office with responsibility for feasibility studies, center office switching equipment, project management and supervision of the installations and acceptance testing service for independent telephone companies.
In 1994, Senne became a Senior Project Engineer and Department Manager of Finley’s operations in Iowa and was in charge of managing numerous independent telephone company projects involving next generation digital switches, Voice over IP, IPTV video and FTTP deployments.
In 2006, he assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer for Finley Engineering where he is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s strategic technical development.
Steve is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and is currently licensed as a Professional Engineer in 8 states.

Speaker - Mike Geller, Lead Architect, Cisco Systems 
As Lead Architect for Cisco, Mike Geller is responsible for developing, defining and executing: Security strategy, architecture and plan for Service Providers including the application of secure SDN and service delivery, Cloud, Mobility and Infrastructure; and the architecture and operational model for the delivery of immersive video services across an inter provider boundary. Mr. Geller also leads Cisco’s standards work in immersive video (TP) for the ATIS Cloud Services Forum, OVCC, and IETF; develops and maintains architecture which empowers SP’s to monetize their networks by offering managed and cloud services; is a recognized expert in the application of IP-SLA and other performance management technology in Service Provider and Enterprise Networks; and has published the ATIS CSF Standards & Book about the “Inter-Cloud.”
Mr. Geller has BS from Emory University, MS-MIS from University of Miami, and has Multiple Industry Certifications: CCIE # 5392, Microsoft Certified Engineer.
Speaker - John Colombo, Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff, Verizon  John Colombo is currently a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Verizon Communications based in Waltham, MA. John joined New England Telephone in 1987 and has worked in various network and technology organizations for the past 25 years within NYNEX, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon, where he currently works in the Wireline Standards and Technical Regulatory group within Corporate Network Technology. A contributor to ATIS, IETF, NRIC, as well as many other industry standards activities and state/federal regulatory initiatives, John has been recognized both as an active contributor and technical expert and has held various leadership positions for several ATIS subcommittees. John is currently a member of the ATIS Cloud Services Forum (CSF), focusing on developing industry standards for cloud-based services, particularly IP video services, such as CDN and Telepresence, in support of Verizon’s cloud platform from both a business and technical perspective.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both from Northeastern University.

Speaker - Jay Cuthrell, Lead Principal vArchitect, VCE Jay Cuthrell is a Lead Principal vArchitect at VCE (A Joint Venture of Cisco, EMC, VMware, and Intel) working with service providers and media & entertainment companies to deliver next generation datacenter solutions. He is a frequent industry speaker based in RTP, NC and Missoula, MT. Previously, as a strategic technology consultant with cuthrell.com he worked with service providers, startup companies, and investment groups. He has held CTO, VP, and GM roles at Digitel and NeoNova (an Azure Capital and Bridgescale Partners portfolio company) and infrastructure consulting roles working domestically and internationally for Fortune 500 clients. He also served at Scient (formerly iXL now Publicis), Nortel, Analysts International, IBM, and NCSU College of Engineering. Speaker - Milan Todorovic, N-Com Milan Todorović joined N-Com in the spring of 2006. Prior to working at N-Com, he focused on academic research studying network behavior. His area of specialization included network congestion avoidance algorithms and distributed computing. His work on behavior of TCP protocols in wireless networks has been published in peer recognized publications.
Since joining N-Com he has been working on engineering of switching, transport, and access networks, as well as integration of voice, data and video services in next generation IP networks in both ILEC and CLEC environments.
Milan holds a MS in Computer Science from Texas Tech University.

Speaker - Jeff Leslie, President and CEO, ITS Telecom 
Jeff Leslie has served as the CEO of ITS Telecom, (A Florida Based Rural ILEC), and Indiantown Company, Inc (a water, sewer, garbage and land holding company) since 1996 and has recently purchased the companies. Jeff has written several telecom related articles for industry magazines and has been a frequent speaker at various telecom conferences and meetings.
Jeff’s previous work experience lies in the field of accounting and banking and as a Florida Certified Public Accountant, Jeff has worked in National and Local firms. Jeff presently serves on the NTCA Marketing Committee, The NECA Rate Development Task Force, the TECO PAC, the Northern Palm Beach County Fiber Development Committee and is also very active in his Church and in his community, serving in director roles at the local Chamber of Commerce, Roger Dean Stadium and at Harbor Community Bank.
